With a background rooted in both healthcare and social services, Maria brings a unique perspective to her work as a therapist. Her journey began in the medical field as a Medical Assistant, where she gained valuable experience in understanding the intersection of physical health and mental well-being. Following this, Maria pursued an internship as a police social worker, honing her skills in crisis intervention and community support. Her recent graduation has equipped her with the latest theoretical knowledge and evidence-based practices in counseling. These diverse experiences have given her a deep understanding of the complexities individuals face, allowing her to provide empathetic and effective therapeutic support to her clients. Maria enjoys working with children, couples, families, and individuals. She also finds passion in working with those who have been first responders or those who have served in the military.
In her free time Maria enjoy walks with her fiancé and dog, shopping, exercising and spending time with family and friends.
